Essential Skills

The Essential Skills (ES) consist of two qualifications:

  • Essential Application of Number Skills (EAoNS)

  • Essential Communication Skills (ECommS)

Each Essential Skill qualification consists of one controlled task and a confirmatory test.

In order to fully complete the framework and be eligible for funding learners will need to complete these qualifications. The allocated assessor will be able to provide learners with all the support and resources they need to meet the demands of these qualifications. Learners will need to show commitment and enthusiasm to achieve.
